Several years ago the Chinoh Group launched a new brand of trendy decor items, Simply D. At that time, comma provided an appropriate baseline and image that contributed to its rapid and successful development as a brand. Simply D offers ‘pure’ collections in a wide range of styles, materials and colours, but always tasteful, desirable, up-to-date, good value for money, and with a strong brand DNA. In other words: Simply D. Nothing more. Nothing less.

Simply D communicates through various channels, and comma coordinates, develops, directs and evaluates activities. We recently carried out a visual and functional update of the Simply D website, expanding it to make it even easier for visitors to find their way among all of the collections.

In the case of Simply D, we decided to make additional use of both print and online media at key peak times. The choice of print media was easy: we opted to advertise in ‘Fleur’, a well-regarded magazine in France and the Benelux countries aimed at florists and other floral professionals and the flower and houseplant sector. With the magazine focusing strongly on practical examples, addresses and the latest trends and developments in the world of flowers and decor, it was a perfect match for Simply D. To reinforce the effects of advertising in the magazine, we created an online media presence via the Fleur website and e-letter.


We also used SEA to communicate with customers, using Adwords campaigns for extra promotion of Simply D collections and linking directly to the new website. comma sets up campaigns for weekly optimization, collating results in coherent reporting.

Besides this, we introduced Simply D on Facebook and Instagram. comma creates the calendars, ensures the content is right and takes care of posting. Results are measured at regular intervals and presented via a readable dashboard, so that we can work together with the client to monitor online developments and adjust the course whenever necessary.
